I was born in Mexico on March 17, 1983,
Cuernavaca, Morelos. When I was six I moved to the states
for the first time and lived in Seattle for 4 years, and then
one more year in Ohio. In 1995 I moved back to Mexico for
two more years and came back to the states once more in
1997. Since then I've attended Southview High Skool since
my freshman year, and I will graduate in 2001.
I
discovered football when I moved to Mexico once again in 1995,
because at the time I had wanted to play hockey but it's hard to
play there when there are almost no ice rinks available !
Nevertheless I was influenced by the fascinating footballistic
culture and soon I was playing wherever I could, at parks,
streets or fields with my friends. Anything we could find
became a ball and anything we could use as goals we did.
From cans to socks, we played and almost never missed a
day. I had the opportunity to play with some of the most
talented guys that I one day hope to see on my national
team. I had to admit that I sucked at first and I had to
play as goalie, but even in that position I improved and would
dive and rush and do whatever I could to stop it from going into
my goal. Later though, I learned to play as forward and
also midfield, and that is where I am at now.
My Junior
year at Southview was the best. I met so many people and
made so many friends. I knew people in every class and I
had a great time. It was my last year with my best senior
friends, Francisco and Michelle, and they made it great for
me. Francisco did great on the Varsity soccer team, and I
hope to see him play when he attends college at Kent.
Francisco was like a brother to me throughout his years at
Southview and was there always when I needed him. Michelle
influenced both of us with her reggae-crazy ways, and touched us
with her kindness and warm heart. If it weren't for her, I
probably would have never loosened up so much. Thanks
guys, and I wish you the best. Cuídate vato !!! :0)
One of the greatest things also happened
to me this year: I discovered reggae, and most
importantly, BOB MARLEY, thanks to my friend Michelle. His music astounded me from the
beginning. It is spiritual, meaningful, and delivers the
truth. Every word he sings is incredible and draws your
attention. Bob speaks from the soul. His music is
going to live forever. Other good reggae groups or singers
are Steel Pulse, Sizzlah, Sister Carol, Buju Banton,P Peter Tosh, Ziggy Marley,
Jimmy Cliff, Yami Bolo, etc. I would post
some of their music, but I would be in a lot of deep sh*t so I
would rather not. Other things I like are also graphics
design, and I will be posting some of my artwork and maybe you
can drop me an e-mail tell me what you think.
Anyway, I
hope you enjoy this site and come back regularly as I will try
to get things moving and post some interesting
information. :0)
